LIN Xueyu      

Lin Xueyu is the academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and an expert engaging in hydrogeology and environmental geology. Lin mainly engages in the research on groundwater management model and treatment of groundwater pollution. She has made the first batch of groundwater quality models of China, and she is one of the pioneers in China devoting to the research on environmental geology, hydrogeology and groundwater resource management.

 

Lin serves as a member of International Association of Hydrogeologists and International Association of Hydrological Sciences, vice president of the Sixth Council of Chinese Society for Mineralogy Petrology and Geochemistry, deputy director of the Academic Committee of State Key Laboratory of Environmental Geochemistry and director of the Academic Committee of Key Laboratory of Pollution Process and Environmental Criteria (Nankai University), Ministry of Education. She is also the editor-in-chief ofJournal of Jinlin University (Earth Science Edition)and an editor of journals such asJournal of Transport in Porous MediaandHydrogeology & Engineering Geology.

 

Lin Xueyu has presided over and completed over 57 scientific research and production projects at state and ministerial (provincial) levels, winning 1 second prize and 2 third prizes of National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, and 3 first prizes and 4 second prizes of science and technology achievement awards at ministerial and provincial levels. She has published 17 academic monographs and more than 170 academic papers through domestic and foreign academic journals. As one of the earliest supervisors in China for master students and doctors majoring in hydrogeology, Lin Xueyu has cultivated over 120 doctors and master students at home and abroad, providing numerous high-quality talents for China.
