Wu Fengchang has engaged in the theoretical research, technological development and engineering practice of environmental criteria and standards as well as the pollution control, achieved innovative results in the theories, methods and key technologies of water quality criteria and the application of lake pollution treatment project, and provided scientific support for implementing several key environmental protection tasks of China, such as the formulation and revision of water environment standards, survey on ecological safety and comprehensive pollution treatment of major river basins.
